ASHLAND – A daylong celebration of the art of storytelling is scheduled Sept. 11 at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park near Ashland. The free Moonshell Storytelling Festival will take place at the outdoor pavilion.

New storytelling group in Ithaca seeks members

A local storytelling group has formed in Ithaca. It meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at Buffalo Street Books in the DeWitt Mall; the next meeting takes place Tuesday. Those interested in storytelling are welcome to attend.
